Rodrigo Torrão Victor earned his Master’s (2019) and Ph.D. (2023) degrees in Physics from the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (CBPF), receiving the prestigious Doutorado Nota 10 fellowship from FAPERJ. Currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratoire Albert Fert (Université Paris-Saclay/CNRS/Thales), he focuses on condensed matter physics and magnetic materials, specializing in spintronics and orbitronics. His current research interests center on advanced spin-orbit torques, field-free magnetization switching, and spin and orbital Hall effects utilizing heavy and light metals. This expertise spans spin-dependent electrical transport, ferromagnetic ressonance , spin pumping, and magnetic and optical properties of thin films and nanomaterials.
